    5 Getting Custom Body Jewelry
Most body piercings are done with a basic surgical stainless steel captive bead ring, or a barbell. This is best for easiest healing.
After your piercing heals - You may just want to go out and get a piece of jewelry that will be a little more fancy or perhaps more daring. It's a great feeling to go around showing off a nice piece of jewelry in your piercings. Body jewelry comes in all shapes and sizes. Most important thing to remember is to always be sure that the jewelry you buy is either Surgical Stainless Steel, Niobium, Titanium, or 14kt Gold. Do Not use Silver for any body piercing, silver will tarnish and infect the piercing.

You may find extraordinary body jewelry at Body Graphics. If we don't
have exactly what you are looking for, we can order it for you. You may also try some retail stores, but I myself have found that the jewelry at most retail stores is not of the better quality, because there are many differences in quality of jewelry and they tend to go with cheaper fancy versions. As we are Piercers we will show a little more care in what we buy, because we actually do the piercings and know what works best.
